Rotogravure Printing Machine

An engraved cylinder is used in the rotogravure technique to transfer ink to the substrate. Typically, copper or chrome is used to create the etched cylinder. When the machine receives the substrate, the rotating cylinder makes contact with the substrate and prints the picture. Rotogravure printing machines are used to print advertisements, calendars, illustrated magazines & books, catalogues, and newspaper supplements (such as colour magazine sections). The said machines print labels and wraps on materials like cellophane and similar ones.
